We evaluate the borrower, property, purchase price, renovation budget, estimated value, available reserves, and exit strategy together — not just one number in isolation. Here's what we generally look for:
- Experienced real-estate investors, or newer investors with a strong team and plan
- A clear purchase, renovation, refinance, or investment plan
- A realistic property valuation and project budget
- A defined repayment or exit strategy
- Adequate liquidity and project reserves after closing
- Business-purpose borrowing through an eligible entity where required
- Complete and accurate documentation
